Before you get started

We recommend that you read and understand the ‘Terms of Use’ of our website before completing this application.

Becoming a HomeLet customer couldn’t be easier, all we ask you to do is complete our short and simple online application form and we’ll do the rest.

Just before you get started you’ll need to gather together some key information to help with your application, here’s what you’ll need.

Details about your company

  • The date your company was established
  • Your company registration number, if incorporated
  • Your Head Office contact details
  • The names and addresses of all your partners or directors
  • If you’re a partnership we’ll need the date of birth of your partners
  • If you’re a sole trader we’ll need your national insurance number

Just a few more details for you to have to hand as part of your application;

Professional Indemnity - please share your details with us - we will need your policy number and the name of the company you have your policy with. (Please also send a copy through to us too - don't worry we will show you how to upload this later). Don’t worry if you haven’t got PI insurance HomeLet can set this up for you.

Information Commissioners Office (ICO) Registration - as you will be sharing data business to business we do require that you have ICO registration. Please share your registration number with us along with your renewal date. If you are not currently registered you can do this after your account is opened, just let us know your registration number.

In order for HomeLet to complete all of its checks we will require sight of your Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement, Terms of Business and copies of any letters you may use when promoting insurance as we review these and your website prior to opening your account. You can upload these later or you can post them to us using our freepost address FREEPOST: RTBY-CCZA-BSZT, HomeLet, Hestia House, Unit 2 EdgeWest Road, Lincoln, LN6 7EL.

Once you’ve completed your application we’ll send you a confirmation email to let you know that we’ve received your request to become a HomeLet customer.

Please be aware that we're unable to offer insurance policies in the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man. If you are operating within these areas you'll only be able to transact references.
